• Laing O’Rourke wins Expo 2020 Dubai contracts

    Expo 2020 Dubai has awarded two major contracts worth a combined Dh670 million ($182 million) to leading British construction company Laing O’Rourke for building of two pavilions and the 'Hammerhead' access road for the mega global event.

    Saudi Arabia is set to build nine desalination plants, with a capacity of 240,000 cu m of water per day, on the Red Sea coast at an investment of more than SR2 billion ($532 million), said a report, citing a senior minister.
